Another way to stay thankful is to remember to ENCOURAGE one another. Encouragement can continue to fan the flame of gratitude and zeal in ourselves and in others. The Bible reminds us to encourage one another so that we don’t become hardened. Encouragement is also a gift of the Spirit that we can cultivate with daily practice. Not only does encouraging others fill them with passion, but it fills us as well, and cultivates gratitude deep within us. And we can encourage ourselves in the Lord as well. His word is full of encouragements that we can speak over ourselves daily so that we are able to remain thankful for all that He has done for us.
