From the moment we are saved, our life stops being about us and starts being about others. We are called to love God and love people, to give everything for His sake.

It is important to understand that we are not building something temporary, but eternal. For this reason, our sacrifice and commitment to His cause cannot be temporary.

Jesus calls us to live our lives in the second mile. The first mile is what is expected of us, but the second mile is the unexpected.

What would happen if we made the second mile, the unexpected, our lifestyle?

I encourage you to be willing to give it your all, understanding that in doing so, you love God and people. His house, His Church, needs the best from each of us to have the impact we were called to have.

Jesus paid a price, but that cost was nothing compared to the cause. When we focus on the cause, the cost becomes insignificant. It is worth giving our lives to build churches that impact and transcend generations!
