Love God Greatly - EcclesiastesSample

SOAP – Ecclesiastes 10:12-13; Solomon shares words of wisdom about the speech of the foolish as opposed to the speech of those who are wise. The wise women’s speech is full of grace. She speaks well of others. She speaks words of truth in love. The foolish speak of only themselves, babbling, dominating every conversation, speaking ill of others, unable to hold or control their tongues. From the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. When a believer’s heart is centered on God, her speech will be transformed by Him to reflect and glorify Him.

About this Plan

In this eight-week Online Ecclesiastes Bible Study at Love God Greatly, our questions regarding the meaning of life will lead us to Solomon’s wise conclusion: that in order for one to find meaning, purpose, and satisfaction in life, he or she must know God. To know the Lord, to love Him, fear Him, follow Him, and find our identity in Him is what frees us to enjoy the temporal gifts in this life and to look beyond those gifts to life everlasting.
