Love God Greatly - EcclesiastesSample

SOAP – Ecclesiastes 10:18; Solomon shares how foolishness affects a country. Leaders who are foolish and selfish will end up with decline and destruction of their nation’s infrastructure. This laziness can cascade from the highest level down to the lowest. Laziness and idleness can greatly impede the life of a believer. We can become idle when we forget that God expects us to be good stewards of our spiritual gifts, our talents, and our resources. God expects fruit from our lives. Our lives are to be motivated to diligence and productiveness out of a love for our Savior who redeemed us.

About this Plan

In this eight-week Online Ecclesiastes Bible Study at Love God Greatly, our questions regarding the meaning of life will lead us to Solomon’s wise conclusion: that in order for one to find meaning, purpose, and satisfaction in life, he or she must know God. To know the Lord, to love Him, fear Him, follow Him, and find our identity in Him is what frees us to enjoy the temporal gifts in this life and to look beyond those gifts to life everlasting.
