A River Runs Through It Sample
Jesus, on the last day of the Festival, declares that all of the celebration is pointing toward Him. Jesus says, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me”. With all of God’s provision in the background, all of history now points to Jesus. COME TO ME.
It’s easy to turn to a number of places to try and fill our dry and parched souls. We binge on anything we can find, but we’re reminded that we must turn to Him and His well to find fulfillment, sustenance, salvation and joy. Out of our own experience with Jesus, rivers of living waters can flow out of our hearts.
QUESTIONS
Have you found your own soul dry or parched? What have you turned toward rather than toward Him?
Have you drawn from Jesus as your primary well? Have you seen the corresponding outward flow of Living Water into your life, your family or your circumstances?
