Day 7: Believe

Freedom without faith is impossible. When you put your trust and faith in God and His Word, it pleases the Lord. Hebrews 11:6 says, “But without faith, it is impossible to please Him.” 

Perhaps you have read this verse a number of times, but tend to steer away from it because the father of lies, the devil, has condemned you. You  may feel that you don’t please God because you don’t have enough faith to do great things.

Why is God pleased with your faith in Him? The answer is so exciting and powerful! When you put your faith and trust in Jesus, it unlocks the door to knowing God and receiving all that God has provided for you and desires to give to you. God has already provided all you need: salvation, healing, deliverance, peace, and so on. Faith is seeing what God has given to you and reaching out to receive it. When you believe God’s promises, you receive from God. Faith pleases God so much because He is a rewarder! 

Faith pleases God because God loves to fill you, bless you, free you, and do more than you can ever think or imagine! (Ephesians 3:20) Since faith is the invitation and acceptance of what God wants to do in your life and through your life, God is pleased when you operate in faith so He can make you prosper in all your ways. You cannot please God apart from faith because faith receives the reward, and God is a loving Father who loves to give and reward! So faith pleases God because God is pleased with blessing you, and faith is what receives what He promises.

Believe in the promises of God for your own life today. Knowing your loving and generous God, be diligent to seek Him and surrender to Him. Your faith in who He is and what He says pleases Him greatly, for God is a rewarder and is waiting to fulfill what He has promised in His Word for your life. Trust your Father; believe His Word. Allow Him to work mightily in your life as you have faith and trust in Him.
