The Soul Of A Worship LeaderSample

Worship by Following Him First
Follow Him! Don’t be swept away by the flood of others, by comments, or by egos. Keep your eyes on Christ and your focus on where you walk.
Proverbs 23:17 reminds us: Do not let your heart envy sinners, but always be zealous for the fear of the Lord.
We see the encounter with Peter and the one who was to betray Jesus in John 21:19-24. Peter wanted justice, but Jesus wanted Peter to follow Him. Do our arguments really matter?
Our worship of the Lord ought to flow into service of others. If we sing of His ways and make melody in our hearts, we are to walk in His commands as well: to love the Lord and love one another.
If we are to follow Jesus’s commission to worship the Lord with all our heart, soul and mind, we are also to love others beyond the music.
