Every day we are looking for wise investments, wisdom for raising our kids, dependable advice for handling relationships. The psalmist reminds us it all starts with God. If I am in awe of God and if I have a healthy fear of him, it will inform and influence everything I decide to do - who I meet, where I work, what I learn, and my life's priorities.
Prayer: Dear Lord, I need understanding and wisdom today. So often I feel confused about what to do or who to trust or how to respond to situations and circumstances. I acknowledge today that as I have a better picture of you and your word, these other things will fall into its proper place. With the Spirit's help, may my life today reflect your priorities. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
