Clothed in Grace: You Are LovedSample

FOR THOSE WHO BLESS
“But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
Luke 6:27-28
Heavenly Father,
I pray for those who struggle with forgiveness, but I also pray for those who forgive, but haven’t blessed their offender. This is one of the hardest things to do, but your word says not only to forgive, but to bless them as we would want to be blessed. True forgiveness is hard enough in itself, but to ask for them to be blessed on top of it is a struggle that can consume us if we don’t comply with your word. For women, it’s especially hard to forgive and bless others when it comes to offenses committed against our children or spouse. But with forgiveness comes freedom, and with blessing comes blessings for ourselves greater than the scope of our imagination.
In Jesus' Name,
Amen
