Clothed in Grace: You Are LovedSample

FOR THOSE WHO CHOOSE TO LOVE
Let us not love with words or speech, but with actions and in truth.
1 John 3:18
Heavenly Father,
How easy it is to go through the motions. For the words, “I love you,” to become monotonous and lose meaning. I pray that wives don’t just go through the motions in being in a servant-led marriage. I pray that they take the time to respect and show their husbands the love they speak of in their actions.
I pray they show their children how much they love them. It’s those memories of time spent together that will linger down the road, not the words spoken. It’s easy to spread ourselves too thin. To rush from job to meeting to soccer practice to dinner, and not make our relationships a priority. I pray that we take the time to be unselfish in our love, to not just speak the words, but show the words.
In Jesus' Name,
Amen
YOU GO, GIRL
Have the words, “I love you,” lost their meaning to the ones you love most? How can you show love to your spouse? Your children? Your parents? Your siblings?
