The School of PrayerSample

DAY BY DAY
So often, the Bible encourages us to pray consistently and persistently. But persistent prayer doesn't just happen. In this second week, we're going to focus on practices that help us become more persistent in prayer. Just as you did on day one, take some time right now to intentionally schedule your time and place for prayer this week. Put it on your calendar, set your alarm, and anticipate spending time with God every day.
Today, start with praise and then take some time to be honest with God about the state of your heart and mind.
God, You are... Today, Lord, I am feeling...

About this Plan

Prayer is essential. Prayer is powerful. Prayer is hard. Most of us feel like we're not doing it often enough or well enough, and we're tempted to give up trying. Instead, let's go back to school and allow the WORD of God to teach us how to TALK to God.
