How often do we find ourselves worrying about the future, wondering why certain things aren’t going as planned, or failing to live out the Bible verses that we’ve read over and over? Pretty sure we’re all guilty of doing so. We know we have a God that will guide us and will provide for us, but it can be so hard to remember that in the heat of the moment.

It can also be hard to comprehend that as Christians we have been given the gift of eternal life. Now put yourself beyond this life and in eternity with Jesus, looking down at yourself right now in this moment. You’ve already seen and lived out the rest of your days.

What would you tell yourself?

Jesus wants us to see our lives like this, but from His perspective. To lean on Him and trust in the next chapter, knowing that every detail of our lives ties into our grander over-arching story. I’d like to think that you know exactly what you would tell yourself, and exactly what Jesus would say to you. So, take the first step today. Pray about it, trust that God will help direct you, and walk forward boldly. And even better, memorize one of the following verses so that they become a weapon in your arsenal of protection against those moments of doubt.
