In Hosea, God was calling his people back to himself. It was a call and a time of repentance and seeking. God was inviting the Israelites to fully seek him with all their hearts, minds, souls, and strength. Today God is inviting us too. He empowers us by his grace to be able to try again even after we fall short, time and time again. And because of the grace and mercy of Jesus, that is possible. Maybe there’s that one area of unforgiveness, disobedience, addiction, selfishness, brokenness, or insecurity… where we’ve taken control, and it is time now to plow. It is time.

What are the uncultivated places in our lives in need of watering and plowing?
Where might you need to ask God to take control in an area in need of repentance and grace?
What trusted friend can you invite to journey with you in the process?
