EkklesiaSample
One of the best things about being part of the church is that there are always people around you who are encouraging you to be more like Jesus. We all have a next step in our faith, whether we have followed Jesus for a long time or just started. As we take the next steps in faith, we become more like Jesus and obey what he’s already told us to do! In the book of Colossians, Paul encouraged an early church by telling them that no matter what they do, they should do it “all for the glory of God.” When we take the next steps in faith, we are doing things to become more like Christ, but also for the glory of Christ.
Challenge: What is your next step? Decide today which next step you need to take, and commit to actively living out that next step, all for God’s glory! Here are some ideas to get you started: Commit to another Bible reading plan, find relationships that challenge you to be like Jesus, get baptized, give time or money, serve, join a small group, or trust Jesus for the first time today!

About this Plan
Ekklesia is the Greek word used by Jesus when he said he would build his church. What comes to mind when you hear the word church? People? A building? What did Jesus mean when he talked about the church? Join us as we take a look at what it means to be the ekklesia.
