The manifestation of the eternal purposeSample
The tree of life
When God put humans in the garden, he allowed them to eat from all the trees except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Could they eat from the tree of life? Yes, it was in the center of the garden, at their disposal. This tree is a shadow of Christ, speaking to us. When Adam and Eve made their choice, they erred because they missed the target. The target was the tree of life. God never told them not to eat from that tree. On the contrary, this tree should have been their choice.
One tree gave life. Scripture says that once Adam was in sin, God did not allow him to access the tree of life. The other tree gave death. The wages of sin is death; when you sin, you die. One tree gives you eternal life, and the other gives you a life of sin. One is the tree of life, and the other is the tree of death. From one you could eat, from the other, you should not eat.
The purpose of shooting arrows at the target is to hit the target. If I miss it, what I am doing is harmatia or sin; when I miss, the arrow goes somewhere else. Life in sin is a life not hitting the target for which it was designed. I was created for one thing, but I am in sin if I deviate from that purpose.
Humans were predestined to be children of God. If I was destined for that, and I do not achieve that objective, I am in sin. I am lost, I get lost, and my life is on a different path than the one God created me for. That is why there are people who are saved and others who are lost. I am lost because I do not find the objective. The objective is to be a child of God, participate in Christ, and eat from the tree of life. The aim is to walk and be part of the eternal purpose of the Father.
We are created for a specific purpose. The center of life is Christ. You are not the center of life. God does not revolve around you; neither does He revolve around me. We all revolve around Him. He is the purpose; He is the most important thing.
