Basics of the Christian FaithSample

… who will come again to judge the living and the dead.
“On that day everyone will see how right God is to judge people. He will reward or punish everyone for what they have done.” (Romans 2:5-6, ERV)
Jesus Christ is in heaven. But He will not stay there forever. At the end of time, He will return with divine glory to judge all humans — those who have died and those who are living. He will reward or punish everyone for what they have done. Even the things done in secret will be brought into judgment. Jesus will judge righteously.
The Bible is totally honest that no single human can stand God’s judgment on his own. “There is no one who does good, not even one” (Romans 3:12). No one has kept all of God’s commandments completely, and therefore every human is guilty of sin. The only way to escape eternal punishment is to believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. All who resist and reject Him will be punished and will not receive eternal life.
Not only will Jesus judge humanity, He will also renew the heavens and the earth. Everything that has been affected by evil will disappear. Jesus will create a wonderful world without death, sadness, crying, or pain. In this new world, Jesus’ followers will live forever in His glorious presence. Make sure you are among those who believe in Jesus Christ!
