Parents and Kids Daily Devotional "A Place of Power"

DAY 12 OF 31

This week, we have learned about trusting the Lord. We believe that God will never leave us. We trust that His hands will always hold ours. We believe that He can do anything for us.

Today, we are reminded of a task that we have to do as a follower of Christ: to be a witness wherever we are and make disciples. It’s not an easy task. But, we know that God will enable us to do it. He will give us His power that enables us and gives us courage.

The question is, have we activated His power by fully trusting in the Lord and doing our part? On Sunday, we saw how Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego did their part and consequently attracted many people to come to know God. That chance is now given to us. Let’s make the best of our lives and bring as many people as possible to come to Jesus.

Devotion for Parents
We don’t have to be perfect to be God’s witness who brings many souls to Him. We just need to do our part and fully trust in God.

Who do you know that needs God in their lives? Let’s take that first step to share about the goodness of God.

Devotion for Kids
Many of your friends may not know who God is, nor have ever experienced His love the way you have. God gives us that responsibility to share with them about God’s love. Would you like to share? Start with something simple, train yourself, and allow God to help you.

Family Devotion Time
Make a short video or write a story with your family about what you have learned for the past week related to trusting in the Lord.

Let this be a testimony you can share with the people you know who need strength and support.

About this Plan

Parents and Kids Daily Devotional "A Place of Power"

Power! A thing that is desired by all humans, even though human power is limited. On the other hand, our God, who is the source of all power, is eager to pour out His power for all of us. The question is, how do we receive it? This devotional will invite all of us, both parents and children, to understand how to activate God's power in our lives.
