Draw Near - PraiseSample

We draw near to God when we praise Him. It doesn’t matter if you’re not a great singer. It doesn’t matter if you can’t play an instrument. You can praise God and worship Him just as you are.

As you praise and worship God, you draw nearer to Him. Your relationship grows and you discover more about Him. When you worship and focus on God, you’re opening your heart and growing closer and closer to Him.

There’s a theory that everyone in the world is so connected that any two people are just six connections away from each other. We’re all much closer to each other than we realize. Imagine, you could be six people away from a royal king or queen. What if you’re actually a royal prince or princess and don’t even know it!

How well do you know the people around you? How well do you know your best friend, sister or brother? How well do they know you? There is someone who knows you so well, someone who is so close to you that they know everything about you. They’re closer even than any best friend or sibling and they know you even better than you know yourself. It’s God!

There’s nothing about you that scares God away, there’s nothing that makes Him love you any less or any more. He knows everything about you and loves you exactly as you are.
