Precious Moments That Count For EternitySample

Emmanuel - God is with Us
A few years ago, I underwent a scoliosis surgery and had to spend three days in the ICU. I was allowed no visitors, and was in extreme pain. I realized that day that no matter what I said, or how hard the others tried, they would never be able to truly understand what I was experiencing. In those moments, I cried out to God and He came to deliver me. He was the only one who knew what I was going through. I realized that I wasn’t alone, I never have been and I never will be.
When Jesus came to this earth to die for us, He was fully God and fully man. He experienced all the pain and suffering we go through, both physical and emotional. He found Himself alone too, as He was preparing for what was coming - His arrest and crucifixion. His disciples, in their flesh, could not understand the severity of what was to come. They should have been with Jesus, awake and praying with Him. Instead, they fell into a deep sleep. In His hour of loneliness, Jesus cried out to God, His Father. Very soon, an angel from heaven came down and strengthened Him.
Sometimes people may not understand you or be there for you. But in your moments of complete loneliness, there is someone who’s looking out for you. He understands. Just call on to Him, and He will answer (Jeremiah 33:3). He will strengthen you. Just remember, as long as you have God, you’re never really alone.
Declaration
My God is for me. He will never leave me nor forsake me.
