Plot TwistSample
Apologizing for something you did wrong could be one of the most challenging things to do. Especially if you hurt someone who you are close with. It can be difficult owning up to your mistakes and admit your actions or words were wrong. So is it just as hard apologizing to Jesus as it is to a friend?
Jesus actually makes it easy for us to apologize to him because of the most important thing he did on this earth. The central event in Jesus' life was his death and then rising up from the dead. Jesus did this out of love to heal us from our mistakes and give us another chance. Now, this is no excuse for us to continue hurting people. We are asked to apologize to Jesus, admit our mistakes, and commit to living a life that doesn't cause hurt or harm. Jesus will always offer us another chance to make things right. Think of it as Jesus' way of trusting you to choose the best option a second time around.
How can you see your healing as an opportunity from God to have another chance at something?

About this Plan
Whether it’s your favorite movie, book, or reality show, you know there's nothing like a good plot twist! A plot twist can make us rethink everything we thought we knew about the story. In this 30-day devotional series from Grow Curriculum, designed for Lent we’ll focus on how Jesus experienced “life-plot twists” and how he is with us when we go through unexpected moments in our life.
