Walk Through the Bible 365 - DecemberSample

Looked Down Upon - Look Up!
There will be times in our lives when others look upon faithful followers of Christ with contempt and scorn. Our faith in a loving God who forgives and provides for every need will be met with distaste because the world seeks pleasure, gain, and glory. The simple yet profound simile in Psalms demonstrates what this looks like when we look to the One who gives mercy. Believers wait patiently for God’s mercy to be granted.
Prayer: Father, forgive those who have contempt for us who trust and live for you. We wait upon you for mercy, for it is loving, kind, and gentle. Please have mercy on them and draw them to your presence. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
About this Plan

How do we feed ourselves with the Word of God? By reading through the Bible. But how do we grasp all the Bible has to offer in an easy and enjoyable way? This reading plan spans one year with daily bite-sized chunks of devotions and scripture to help you stay focused, at a comfortable pace and without overwhelming yourself. As you begin your walk through the Bible, you'll start to hear, read, study, memorize, meditate, and apply God's Word in your life.
