"Seek and Find" 

You know when you start liking a certain car or brand how you start to see it everywhere? It is crazy how we overlook things every day until we have an interest in them, and then those things become all we see. The prophet Jeremiah said that when we seek the Lord, we will find Him. The same principle applies here as it does with anything we seek. When you start looking, He will start to become all you see! 

It doesn’t do us any good to want a better life but keep it as a distant hope or a far-fetched wish. We cannot treat God like a magic genie. God wants to be sought after and desired. When we seek Him and want Him in our lives, God eagerly responds and is present with us in all things. Although God is omnipresent and is everywhere and always with us, we still need to seek Him and desire His presence with us. When we seek Him, it allows Him to be at work in our lives.

Renewal Thought: When you allow God to be at work in your life, you will begin to see His goodness and provision in every area of life. Seek Him today and watch how you see Him everywhere and in everything.

Prayer: Father, I hunger and thirst after Your presence in my life. I long for Your truth, and I desire Your will in all I do. Thank you, God, that You give me the desires of my heart. I believe those who hunger will be filled, those who seek will find. Those who desire Your blessing will not be disappointed.
