Integrity

Palmer eyed the dessert table. She was in line at an after-school performance, and there was a sign that said, “Please take one.” Palmer took three, because it was her favorite dessert! No one would notice, right? Wrong. She found out later that some kids didn’t get any dessert, and Palmer felt guilty because she had taken so many.

To have integrity is to do the right thing even when no one is watching. Every choice we make matters. You are either becoming a person with more integrity by making small, good choices, or you are becoming a person people cannot trust. You get to choose.
