Today, you will finish reading through Colossians! Congratulations! You completed a book of the Bible! BibleProject has created a video summary of the book of Colossians. (Included today.) Take time today to watch this video along with your readings. It will help you lock in your understanding of Colossians as we prepare to read through the book one more time. Why read the book twice? Great question! Think of your favorite album or playlist. Did you love it the first time you heard it? Probably not. The first time through an album we are just trying to find our bearings, but with time and familiarity, the depth and beauty of the album becomes increasingly clear. The same is true of God's Word. As we become increasingly familiar with the Bible, we begin to see the subtle details that reveal what a fantastic masterpiece God has given to us! With this in mind, we will read through Colossians one more time with the goal of seeing some of the subtle details we missed in our first reading.
