To empower means to give someone the authority or power to do something. We can’t fulfill God’s purpose in our own strength, but it’s through His strength and power working in us.
We are commissioned - which means we are chosen, appointed, and authorized by God to live out His purpose. We can’t do it alone; He is the one who enables us and gives us the power to do it.
