David - Faithful Servant, Friend and KingSample

What if we mess up and don’t do well with something we’ve been given? No one is perfect; we all make mistakes. Being faithful to small things is all about learning. We have lots of opportunities to practice and grow and get better. God isn’t looking for perfection; He is the only one who is perfect. Even when we mess up, God is always faithful to us.
How can we serve faithfully? Serving faithfully is all about being honest, steadfast, committed, and not giving up when things get tough. We faithfully serve when we do what we say we’re going to do, do our best, and remember that no matter what we do, we’re serving God, not others. David was a faithful servant when he was responsible for sheep, when he was sent to take food to his brothers in battle, when he faced the giant Goliath, when he served King Saul and played the harp, he was a faithful friend to Saul’s son Jonathan, and he was faithful even while Saul was out to get him. David was faithful and eventually became king!
