David - Faithful Servant, Friend and KingSample

We can be faithful friends by sticking by others and standing with them even when they’re going through a tough time. Romans 12:15-16 (The Message) says, “Laugh with your happy friends when they’re happy; share tears when they’re down. Get along with each other; don’t be stuck up. Make friends with nobodies; don’t be the great somebody.” What great advice! Share the joyful, happy times together as well as the tears when someone is down. We can lift one another up. Make true friendships, not just with who we think is ‘popular.’ This is the kind of faithful friend we can be.
Jesus is the ultimate example of love; He gave His life for us. You know of the ten commandments given to Moses and God’s people in the book of Exodus. Jesus gives us a new command that sums up all of the commands of the Old Testament - to love one another.
