David - Faithful Servant, Friend and KingSample

David was a faithful leader who trusted God even in tough times. David wrote many of the Psalms we read in our Bibles today, and he often wrote about the tough times he faced and how he trusted God through it all. David wrote about not trusting in horses and chariots but trusting in God. In Bible times, armies didn’t have submarines and tanks; they had chariots and horses. When David led armies into battle, he didn’t put his trust in the number of chariots, horses, and soldiers his army had; he put his trust in God. Faithful leaders don’t give up when faced with a battle; they put their trust in God and don’t give up. The Bible says there are blessings for us when we don’t give up and keep trusting God.
