The Values of a Biblical WorldviewSample

Hope
Hope. It’s a small word with a big impact. To live with hope means to look to the future with the expectation that good things are coming.
This is tough to do sometimes, especially if things around us are tough. But, as followers of Jesus, we always have a reason to live with hope. After Jesus died, he was resurrected. He came back to life, never to die again. His resurrection is an event that happened in human history, giving us great hope for our future. Jesus promised eternal life for those who put their faith in Him. Our future is secure. He will make everything right again someday. Therefore, we always have a reason to hope!
And hope is invigorating. It is electrifying. It is powerful! When we live with hope, we will share it with others. And, like a spark, the fire of hope spreads, and the future begins to look brighter and brighter to those around you.
Try to wake up each day with hope, expecting the day to be new, exciting, and meaningful. Living with hope makes a big difference!
Here are some things to do and think about today:
- According to these verses, what does Jesus give us?
- How can you spread hope to others?
- What do you hope for in life?
- What does it look like to have hope in hard times?
- How does Jesus’ love for us give us hope?
