Over the TopSample
For many people, sharing the good news takes courage. There are so many bad examples to overcome.
Just think about the last time you walked into a concert or football game and saw people with megaphones shouting about how angry God is. Or how you feel when you see an argument in the comments section of a post online, with people angrily making their point in all caps. If this is what it has looked like to share the good news and you feel hesitant, that is totally understandable.
The book of Acts shows us a better way, and thankfully, no shouting or caps lock is necessary.
Throughout the book, you see what happens as people share the story of Jesus, and it starts changing people's lives. Acts is filled with moments where people honestly and humbly share stories of how Jesus has transformed them. They didn't shout or make people feel shame. They weren't angry or confrontational. They just kindly shared with others the ways Jesus changed everything for them, and then God took it from there.
The same goes for you. You don't need to have all the answers. Your life doesn't have to be perfect. Most likely, you will say something imperfectly. That is okay. It happens to everyone, and the Book of Acts shows you don't need to let all of that stop you. Sharing the good news is as simple as sharing your story, how Jesus has changed your life, and why you follow him.

About this Plan
Have you ever seen an action movie where the stunts became more and more outrageous? Each stunt gets more extreme as the movie continues to push the limits of what to expect. What if that same mindset inspired us to live differently in our lives? What if we looked to God for ways to be extreme and do the unexpected in places like generosity?
