21 Days of Filiation: God, Family & ChurchSample

DIMENSIONS OF FILIATION
There are three dimensions of filiation that we find in Scripture. The first is the divine dimension, which deals with our relationship with our Heavenly Father. God is Father! In Jesus, we leave the status of "creatures" and gain the status of sons. When this happens, everything changes for the better. The second dimension of sonship is the biological dimension. Our family ties can greatly influence our destiny.
Therefore we need to resolve all conflicts and hang-ups. The big point here is that we usually, or almost inevitably, transfer our family relational hang-ups to the Trinity. Someone, for example, with blockages with his biological father will hardly be able to see God as Father. This limitation will bring orphanhood and various prisons. The third dimension of sonship is the spiritual ─ our relationship with the Church. Seeing the Church, the Body of Christ, as a spiritual family is something that completes the tripod of sonship for one to experience all that Heaven has prepared for their story.
In this devotional journey, you will learn about the dimensions mentioned for you to analyze your life and, if necessary, receive healing and deliverance to experience the totality of sonship intended for human beings.
