REAFFIRMING IDENTITY

Your power is in your identity! Did you know that you are what the Bible says you are; you have what the Bible says you have, and you can do what the Bible says you can? I once heard from a young woman that one of the most striking things she learned from her parents is that they removed every mentality of limitation and impossibilities from their ecosystem. That is impactful!

Growing up in a home where "anything is possible" blesses. It is an incubator of extraordinary destinies. What has fragmented your identity? Reflect, and if so, ask for forgiveness and reject all that has destroyed your inner self. If you understand what the Father thinks about you and apply your faith in it, nothing and no one can paralyze you. Search the Bible for all it says about you, and appropriate these truths. Hear and receive people's positive words about you. Recognize your potential, celebrate it, and share it. Never compare yourself, level yourself down, make yourself proud, compete with, or sabotage anyone. You are unique and made for an honorable purpose.

That is the best way to value yourself and recognize your true identity. Let the echo of the Father's powerful words at Jesus' baptism reach you, "This is my beloved son (say his name) in whom I rejoice!" So much truth in just a few words. Like Jesus, know that you are a son! You are loved, and you fill the Father's heart with joy. The one who recognizes his true identity will never be a fake!
