We can show love in our words and our actions. It doesn’t need to be a grand gesture with love songs and roses, love can be shown in other ways, too.

We can’t SAY with our words that we love others and then not show the same love in our actions. It’s like saying, “I love people”, and then when someone needs your help, you run a million miles in the other direction because you really don’t want to show your love in your actions. We can’t just talk about love; we need to show it! We can show love in our words and actions. That’s why the Bible says we cannot just talk about love; we must put love into action.

It’s important that Christians work at showing God’s love in words and actions. We can show His love to others by the way we serve them, treat them, help them, and speak to them.
