Breath Prayers: Breathing & Praying Through ScriptureSample
Welcome to Day 4 of our breath prayer journey!
Today, we will explore the beautiful imagery of God as our Best Friend and Shepherd---the One who lovingly and graciously provides and supplies all our needs. As we continue to practice using breath prayer to pray and breathe through the Scriptures, let us intentionally and intimately draw near to the One who abundantly cares for us.
As you begin your prayer time, take a few intentional breaths, inviting the Presence of your Best Friend and Shepherd, Yahweh, into your secret and sacred space. With each inhale, allow His love and care to fill your heart, and with each exhale, release any feelings of lack or insufficiency.
As you meditate on today's Scripture, relax and simply repeat the following breath prayer meditation exercise.
Inhale/breathe in: Yahweh is my Best Friend and my Shepherd.
Exhale/breathe out: I always have more than enough.
Let these words become a declaration of God's divine provision and sufficiency in your life. Embrace the truth that in Him, you lack nothing. Trust that He will provide and supply all of your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
Throughout the day, return to this breath prayer whenever you feel the need to experience the promise of God's supernatural provision afresh. Allow this prayer to be a reminder of His deep love and constant care for you. You are His beloved child. You have a rich inheritance in Him. It is His promise that His blessings and favor will overflow in your life.
Take some time today to journal your experience and the moments when you felt or experienced God's abundant provision. Tomorrow, we will explore another verse, continuing our journey. May you walk in the assurance of God's heavenly provision as you commune with Him and find sweet rest in His loving guidance and companionship.
The Scripture in today's breath prayer is Psalms 23:1 TPT.
