Children of the BibleSample

You might feel like you don’t have a lot to offer because you’re young, but your insight, your views, your thoughts and feelings matter. At a young age you can do awesome things! You can change the world around you.
The Bible talks about young people who served God. Joseph was 17, Samuel was likely around 11 years old, David was the youngest of his brothers and began serving God as a child, Josiah became king at 8 years old and God started using Jeremiah before he was even born.
The heroes we read about in the Bible kept serving God until they were very old. Joseph served God his whole life, and he lived until he was 110. Moses was 120 years old and still serving God, Abraham served God his whole life and died when he was 175 years old.
You’re never too old to serve God and you’re never too young to serve God. God uses people of all different ages to do great things for Him.
No matter how old you are you can serve God. You can serve God through caring for others, praying for people, helping at church, welcoming new people, being part of a team and using your gifts to build the church. Serve Him with gladness!
You’re never too young to serve God.
