I AmSample
Think about the last time you felt lost. Maybe it was the first day at a new school and you were struggling to feel comfortable in your new surroundings. Maybe a friendship took a weird, unexpected turn and you didn't know where to go from there.
Everyday life can get us feeling pretty lost. We may not know what to do next. When you are lost, you want to know where to turn and what lies ahead. You are so done with all the confusion and just want to know the truth. Big questions can come up, like, "Who am I?" "What is my purpose?" and "Where do I fit in?"
If you are feeling at all lost, today's passage comes in with some much-needed hope. Jesus declared that he is the way, the truth, and the life. When we hear this message, we can respond in one of two ways — walk away or follow him.
Following Jesus doesn't mean we have all the answers. God doesn't hand us a map with each life decision laid out, but what we do have is a reliable guide. We have the truth of God's words lived out in the life of Jesus, and the Holy Spirit guiding us in the way we should walk. Here's our greatest hope — we will never actually be lost when we know the truth of Jesus and follow him.

About this Plan
When Jesus was on earth, there were a few times when he told his followers exactly who he was. For the next four weeks, we'll explore some of these stories to find out how Jesus described himself to others. We'll take a look at what changes when we hear Jesus tell us he is love, he is truth, he is always with us, and how he is our Savior.
