Happy day 20 of Advent! What fun we have had so far! Let's continue celebrating the Wise Men today!

This was the moment the Wise Men were waiting for, the moment they met Jesus. Imagine how nervous they must have been when they finally arrived at the place where Jesus was. They knew they were meeting the Savior of the World. Maybe they took a few deep breaths outside before knocking on the door.

We often assume there were three wise men because they gave three gifts. But Scripture never tells us how many wise men there were, but we know there were at least two! So, imagine this small or large group of guys gathering around this little child. And then worshipping him!

They began rejoicing in GREAT JOY because they finally found Jesus. We should rejoice in GREAT JOY every day because we have Jesus with us daily. These grown men didn't let pride, embarrassment, busyness, or ANYTHING get in the way of celebrating the JOY they found.

ACTIVITY

Gather your household together. Build a fort in your living space! Stay up late camping out in the fort! Making smores is great for this activity. If you don't have a fire, make them in the oven! End the night by reading a Christmas story before you fall asleep!
