”I don’t want to start over,” or “I’m just lonely,” are two phrases said often when it comes to settling in a less-than-ideal relationship. Please know these feelings are valid and common, but they aren’t what’s best for you. Focusing on following Jesus daily will give you the clarity and strength needed to wait and not let your feelings of urgency win. We humans are so used to getting what we want when we want it, but one of the things God gives us as we go through life is patience. Patience is a virtue, right? Patience is a skill to craft that can lead to God’s best.
Today, ask God to reveal what area of life you need to be more patient in. Ask God to show you how to do just that.
