Easter - Where It HappenedSample
If you went into the kitchen of a fine dining restaurant, you can tell who is in charge by the height of their chef’s hat. An executive chef wears the tallest hat in the kitchen.
If you are in Australia and in an evacuation emergency, the Chief Warden is in charge. You can tell who they are because they wear a white cap or helmet and a white vest.
If you are in an orchestra, the conductor is in charge. They stand up in front with their conductor’s baton, keeping everyone on time and bringing all the different musicians together in one beautiful piece of music.
It’s important to know who is in charge when a team works together to achieve something or when you’re in a tough situation. When you know who is in charge, you know whose voice to listen to and who to obey. Like a musician tuning their instrument, we can tune ourselves to God. We can talk to Him and read His word, the Bible, and do what it says.
When Jesus was arrested, it may have seemed like God’s plan was falling apart, that He wasn’t in charge, but this was all part of God’s plan to save us. Jesus obeyed His Father’s plan, God in charge.
Who is in charge of your life? Who are you tuned in to? When we make Jesus our Lord, it means He is in charge of every area of our lives. Not just some parts, every part! When we put Jesus in charge, we listen to His voice and obey Him. When tough times come, we know whose voice to listen to and who to obey.

About this Plan
The Bible is not a book of made-up stories; it’s about real people and real places, places we can still see today. As we journey through the places where Easter happened, we remember why Easter happened. We remember that Jesus is our Lord, Saviour, and Risen King.
