Easter - Where It HappenedSample
Jesus had shared the last supper with His disciples before spending the night praying in the garden of Gethsemane. In the morning, He was arrested and taken away like a criminal, even though He had done nothing wrong. Jesus was made to carry a heavy wooden cross to a place called Golgotha, where He died.
As night came, His body was placed in a tomb guarded by Roman soldiers. His followers’ hope was smashed. The one they believed in was gone. But there is a reason we call it ‘Good Friday.’
The Bible tells us that at the moment Jesus died, the curtain in the Temple was torn completely in half, from top to bottom. What did that mean? Before, the only way to connect with God was one day a year at the temple through Priests and important leaders. We are no longer held back from God, Jesus makes a way for us to be close to Him.

About this Plan
The Bible is not a book of made-up stories; it’s about real people and real places, places we can still see today. As we journey through the places where Easter happened, we remember why Easter happened. We remember that Jesus is our Lord, Saviour, and Risen King.
