Easter - Where It HappenedSample

Easter - Where It Happened

DAY 10 OF 15

Easter is a special time in the year; we focus on Jesus’ death and rising again, and as Christians, it’s the most important celebration we have. That doesn’t mean that for the rest of the year, we forget about Jesus. We remember Jesus when we share communion, just like the disciples at the Last Supper. When we pray, we thank Jesus for dying on the cross and rising again for us. When we sing and worship Jesus, we remember what He’s done for us. When we read our Bibles, we discover that everything we read points to Jesus - our Saviour. Don’t save it all up only for Easter. Remember Jesus, pray, worship Him, and read the Bible. Every day, we can grow to know Him more, and it’s all because He died on the cross and rose again for us.

Jesus, our Saviour, rescues us from sin. This means He forgives our sin, the wrongdoing in our lives. We’re not just forgiven a little bit, or a medium sized amount depending on what we did, we are completely and totally forgiven. God’s forgiveness doesn’t depend on our works or our good deeds, we are not forgiven because we try to be good or don’t ever mess up again. God’s forgiveness is because of Jesus and what He has done for us. We are forgiven, Jesus is our Saviour.

About this Plan

Easter - Where It Happened

The Bible is not a book of made-up stories; it’s about real people and real places, places we can still see today. As we journey through the places where Easter happened, we remember why Easter happened. We remember that Jesus is our Lord, Saviour, and Risen King.
