Perfect Redemption: Easter Devotional for KidsSample
At The Temple
Jesus went into the temple one day to pray to His Father, but when He got there, guess what He saw? Jesus saw people selling and buying. Can you believe that? People forgot the reason for which the temple was built.
The Temple is a holy place where we go to pray to our dear Father and this means that we have to keep it clean and holy. If God told you He was coming to your bedroom, you will make sure your room is very clean so He will be happy with you. This is the same way we have to treat the Temple which is the house of prayer because we are also going to meet with God there and we would not want Him to be unhappy.
We will make it our responsibility to keep the Temple, which is the church, very clean because by doing this, we will honour God and make Him very happy.
