Perfect Redemption: Easter Devotional for KidsSample

Access to God's Kingdom
Jesus Christ loves you unconditionally and nothing can stop that. He loves you so much that he suffered a brutal death on the cross. A good way to show Jesus that you love him is by obeying His commands.
Let’s say you have the latest gadget. A few weeks later your parents tell you to return it so funds can be raised for children in need. I can hear you wishing that you did not have to return it.
The rich man in the story thought he could follow Jesus without giving up anything. Following Jesus Christ means you always have to give up something.
While it is true that Jesus loves you, he wants you to obey him and give him your heart. Is there anything that you still struggle to give to Jesus?
Memory verse
Jesus answered, If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come and follow me”. Matt 19:21
Word of the day
FORSAKE
To give up, or leave entirely
Say and Pray
Dear Jesus, please give me grace to give my all to you and follow you always in Jesus' Name. Amen!
Scripture
