Feeding the HungrySample

Jesus did not expect the disciples to simply watch, while He did the wonder of multiplying the food and feeding the five thousand. He wanted them to play an active role in what He was doing. He handed over to them the entire responsibility of organizing the crowd, distributing the food, and collecting the leftovers (Luke 9:14-17).
God expects us to actively participate in His work of feeding hungry souls. We are called to be God’s fellow workers, working together with Him in His field (1 Corinthians 3:9, 2 Corinthians 6:1). Each of us with our different abilities and giftings can do our little part (be it organization, distribution, or collection), in God’s work of feeding those who hunger and thirst for righteousness. Freely you have received of God, now freely give. Earnestly ask God what it is that He requires of you and with His strength, actively plan and purpose to do the same.

About this Plan

The world is hungry. Many suffer from physical hunger and far more suffer from spiritual hunger. They are searching and running from place to place, from scheme to scheme, from activity to activity looking for fulfillment. Jesus wants to satisfy your hunger and give you the rest that your restless heart is longing for. For it is in your giving of yourself that you are blessed.
