Grow With God: 31 Day DevotionalSample
THEY’RE WAITING ON YOU TO FAIL
DAY TWENTY ONE OF THIRTY ONE
There are many children of God who have faced the same trials you are going through now, but it doesn’t always feel like that when you look around. You might feel alone in your attempt to walk out a righteous lifestyle; especially when you stumble.
What’s one of the first things someone usually does after they find out you’re a Christian? Put you under a microscope and look for a reason to point out your flaws. Instead of seeing it as an annoyance, I’ve adjusted my perspective to now see it as an opportunity.
Even though I’ve always had a walk with God, going through different trials and seasons only magnified my weaknesses and showed me what I still had to work on. One of our greatest tools as a believer is our testimony.
Those who used to know you as a selfish, unreliable, apathetic person will be shocked when you begin to exhibit the character traits that God requires us to have.
When they ask “What changed?”, you can use this as an opportunity to share about Christ’s power and influence over your life. Know that you’re not alone. Our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ who came before us ran the same race that we are running now and proved that it's possible to not give up.
Prayer: When you feel alone or scrutinized because of your walk with God, pray that He will send you the right community to support you in your Christian journey. Pray that He helps you to overcome any sin you struggle with so that you can run with perseverance.

About this Plan
This 31-day journey will help you commit to: growing in faith, growing in hope, and growing in LOVE for God and others. Each day gives practical advice on how to deepen your walk with Jesus through Scripture as well as personal lessons I've learned in my own walk with The Lord.
