ARE YOU DREAMING BIG ENOUGH?

DAY TWENTY FOUR OF THIRTY ONE

When we are actively pursuing a deep relationship with The Lord, He molds us and changes our desires because we are a New Creation in Christ.

If we are walking righteously, His desires start to become our desires. We will want what He wants for us. That’s why it says to “take delight in Him” first. Some translations say “Seek your happiness in the Lord” or “Do what The Lord wants”.

If we make it all about Him, that’s the first step to living a blessed and favored life because He knows He can trust us with those blessings and responsibilities. Before I fully committed to trusting God, I saw my life going in a very different direction.

However, now that I understand His Plan for my future, I can see how much better it is for me and for the world. It’s not that my plans weren’t “good”, but they could be achieved without God. If your dreams can be attained without God, you aren’t dreaming big enough.

Prayer: Ask God to reveal His Big Plans to you. Also, pray that He’ll equip you and make you ready to be a good steward over those plans.
