Wherever You Go

Father, thank you for your encouragement to be full of fervor for you. I want to be excited to serve you and be bold in doing so. Like Joshua, I want to go where you take me with strong faith, and I need you to encourage my heart when I am lacking.

When I am struggling, please bring these words back to me so I can recollect your faithfulness to those who have gone before me. In my times of discouragement, be the voice that I need, spurring me on to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. Let me be a living sacrifice and not shrink away from pain or even death.

God, I will be brave facing my foes. I will stand resolute in the face of fear and proclaim the victory of Christ Jesus over my life and circumstances. You have made me strong, and my path is secure in you.
