Embrace of the Humble: 7 Ways to Grow in Your Servitude

DAY 5 OF 7

Your recipe for success!

"You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with."

In many personal coaching programs, this phrase is considered a central starting point for personal change and success, and let's just tell it like it is: "More money in your bank account."

Have you ever thought about that? Who do you spend the most time with?

I could discuss how important it is today to build a healthy environment and take care of your finances—I'm very convinced of that. However, most motivational speakers leave out one very important factor essential to this success.

When they say, "You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with," how much more important is it to "spend the most time with the One to Whom the whole world is subordinate!"?

"For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him." (Colossians 1:16 NIV)

And you have the opportunity, whenever you want—24/7—to be in touch with this great God, yes, to serve Him!

Serve God by spending time with Him to know His will and become more and more like Him:

"And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit."

(2 Corinthians 3:18 NIV)

Why do you want to become like other people when you have the opportunity to become more like God?

Human advice and good friends are valuable and right. But to become a true servant of God, the very first place should be our time with Him and His will for our lives:

"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matthew 6:33 NIV)

You don't have to serve money when you can serve a God who wants to give you out of His abundance!

I pray that these thoughts may reach your heart today!

You are a miracle!
