HaggaiSample

Reflection
Twice, in verses 5 and 7, the people are asked to “give careful thought to your ways” (NIV), or “consider your ways” (ESV).
The first time, the Lord questions the food, drink, clothes, and money of the people. Does it ever feel enough?
The second time, an action is required to “go up into the mountains.”
Let’s take time to consider our ways today. Does life feel like nothing is ever enough? Why? How can we “go up into the mountains” to listen to the voice of the Lord?
