But, Did You Talk to Jesus?Sample
Jesus is Always Listening
Have you ever had a day where everything was going great, and you were having so much fun that you forgot to pray? Or maybe you were so busy with school and activities that you didn’t have time to talk to Jesus. The amazing thing about Jesus is that He’s always there, ready to listen whenever you want to talk to Him. Just like how you would talk to your best friend about your day, your joys, or your worries, Jesus wants to hear all about it too. He’s never too busy, and He never gets tired of hearing your voice.
When the Bible says to "pray without ceasing," it means that you can talk to Jesus anytime and anywhere. You don’t have to wait for a special time or place to pray; you can whisper a prayer while you’re playing, before a test, or even when you’re just thinking about something. Jesus loves it when you include Him in your day because He loves you and wants to be a part of everything you do. Remember, talking to Jesus is as simple as talking to a friend—He’s always listening and cares deeply about you.
Activity:
Draw a picture of something that makes you happy. Then, say a prayer thanking Jesus for that happy thing.
Prayer:
Dear Jesus, thank You for always listening to me. Help me to remember to talk to You about everything. Amen.
